Pujo Semedi Hargo Yuwono is a professor at the Department of Anthropology at the Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. He has worked on fishing communities and plantation life in Java as well as on farming communities in South Germany. He will be a Senior Fellow at the Collegium Helveticum and a Visiting Scholar at the ISEK-Social Anthropology during the Autumn Semester 2024. During his stay, he will teach a regional module on Indonesia and work on his book Sharing with the Devil: Theft and Corruption in an Indonesian Coffee Plantation.
