Short bio

Casey Michael Edgarian is a doctoral researcher studying with Prof. Dr. Peter Finke. He graduated from Indiana University in 2023 with a dual Master in Public Affairs with concentrations in International Development and Nonprofit Management and a Master of Arts in Central Eurasian Studies. He has also completed a Master of Arts in Iranian Studies at the University of Tehran (2017) and a Bachelor of Arts in History (2014) at The University of British Columbia. His PhD project focuses on the promotion of regionalized Romansh identities through the educational system in the Grisons, particularly in the Sursilvan and Lower Engadine regions.
