Research Group Gender/Relatedness/Body

The Research Group "Gender/Relatedness/Body" is a forum for everyone interested in gender and sexuality, queer anthropology, the anthropology of kinship as well as the anthropology of the senses and the body. We focus on ethnographic approaches that explore intersections of these fields and the complex ways in which gendered bodies articulate with diverse forms of sociality and relatedness. Through workshops, events with invited guests, and our monthly reading group on „Queer Anthropology“, we seek to create a forum for sharing and discussing our ongoing research and building networks with colleagues working on similar topics.
